Reiki is a means of energy healing. It is real, subtle, and has helped many people.
I first learned about the importance of Reiki through a friend I met online in the discussion boards. Eventually, I became curious to learn more about it. I'm glad I did.
There are many good websites about Reiki. Allow me to put my own spin.
Spiritual energy flows from the Source in many paths. As the energy passes through layers of spirit, it is filtered into many aspects. One is the vibration of human healing. A man by the name Dr. Usui, in the late 1800's re-discovered the energy source known as Rei-ki. This energy can heal the astral body, i.e. restore it to its healthy form. This, in turn will have a significant on the physical.
I was granted the gift of Reiki healing, by simply asking a Master in spirit to provide attunement. This will make many traditional students cringe. I paid nothing and now I am like them. It's important to note, I don't charge to heal nor do I offer the service publicly yet.
The world needs to be healed. Everytime I walk into a restaurant, my hands buzz with energy. Simply put, there are not enough energy healers out there, and when I enter the scene, the energy cannot help but flow. This is why I believe we need more healers, NOW, and they should consider my route. NOW is not to the time to argue over the cost of training and attunement, the world needs more healing and healers, and anyone who wishes to volunteer should step up.
