A lot of interesting orb pictures have been showing up in people's photographs lately. Are they evidence of spirits or is there a more mundane explanation?
I think I have an explanation for many orb pictures. I make no claims to be able to explain all orb pictures.
I performed a little experiment in my home a few months ago with some striking results. First I took a picture of chair in my living room:
Then, I hit a pillow a few times with my hands to generate a lot of dust in the air. I stood back and took the following pictures in succession:
My theory based on these observations is that many orbs are produced by dust. The combination of the dust being out of focus and dispersing the light from a flash seems to the produce the orb effect. Anyone can try this experiment for themselves with a digital camera and an object with dust.
I will conclude here by saying that I do believe that spirits pervade the many dimensions that overlap with our own. I see them from time to time in my space when I OBE and AP.
